Hi I’m Carlton, a frontend developer who loves turning ideas into interactive, eye-catching web experiences. Below is Barney, our loyal pug, part-time coding assistant, and full-time distraction expert.
While I’m busy bringing websites to life, Barney is usually giving me the ‘sad pug eyes,’ wondering when I’ll finally take a break and give him some attention.
He may not write JavaScript quite yet, but he’s mastered the art of guilt-tripping me away from my screen!
Here are some web experiences we built during a 10-week Frontend Developer course with General Assembly as well as one piece from a project I completed in another course. Select one to see it in action.
Fun fact, I used to teach myself all kinds of things when I was a kid. If I saw someone on TV doing it I’d have to challenge myself to figure it out.
As a result, I taught myself to juggle, sew, touch type and other seemingly random things at a very early age.
I guess the love for learning, was there even then.
I wanted to be a sports star when I grew up and still hold out hopes that if the number of VEGO chocolate bars you can eat in one sitting ever becomes an Olympic sport, my dream might still become a reality.
Now, my passion is all things website design, development, coding and teaching others.
